The supporters of Talleres de Escalada booed when ToCoTaN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Confesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes, Talleres de Escalada's Miguel Marino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mariano Rio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Talleres de Escalada reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Ihazintu in the 29th minute of play forced Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Angelo Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Talleres de Escalada getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Javier Platon hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, ToCoTaN FC's Guido Confesor broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 33 played minutes ToCoTaN FC got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Ikatz.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eustacio Nevada to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldo Paublo during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ToCoTaN FC booed when Talleres de Escalada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Paublo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Miguel Marino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Mariano Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Jeronimo Ihazintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeronimo Ihazintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Angelo Sugoi made a huge save. In the 90th minute, ToCoTaN FC's Diego Handi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Diego Handi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ToCoTaN FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Diego Handi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Diego Handi kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Talleres de Escalada's Miguel Marino tried to score from far away in the 92nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Talleres de Escalada supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching ToCoTaN FC's performance. The match ended with a win for ToCoTaN FC.
