In the 14thth minute of the game Erubiel Baleren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but gutierrez sport club's Roman Aztore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Severiano Quintyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquiles Erruki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano George in the 16th minute of play. Aureliano George sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, gutierrez sport club's Alejandro George nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Erruki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 27 minutes, Aureliano George mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the gutierrez sport club and the INTER de Córdoba players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Constantino Lucila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Constantino Lucila to make the kick off. In the 60th minute, one of gutierrez sport club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for gutierrez sport club. Guido Christobal walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The supporters of INTER de Córdoba booed when gutierrez sport club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro George didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Guido Christobal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Aztore showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Leandro Ihintza was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. In the 66th minute of the match Guido Christobal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roman Aztore showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Constantino Lucila managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTER de Córdoba's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Lucila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Aztore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roman Aztore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Baleren in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Lucila in the 92nd minute of play forced gutierrez sport club's goalkeeper Roman Aztore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 98 played minutes, INTER de Córdoba's Severiano Quintyn shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roman Aztore came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in INTER de Córdoba reached it. gutierrez sport club were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over INTER de Córdoba's much stronger midfield.
