Damaso Panfilo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celestino Mingo's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. With an all-out effort, Furia Calamar's Gavino Orlan threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Santana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan got control of the ball when Herminio Semeno tried to sneak it across the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Pedro Santana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gavino Orlan. Pedro Santana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Celestino Mingo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Panfilo was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Gavino Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Salomone in the 30th minute of the match. Herminio Semeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Orlan having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s goalkeeper Gavino Orlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Semeno. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Bruno Ekialde put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Damaso Panfilo. Damaso Panfilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Ekialde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Santana to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Pedro Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Vistruario hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Celestino Mingo's late challenge caught a Furia Calamar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Mingo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Mingo to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Javier Hug was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Furia Calamar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ the free kick. After 61 played minutes Furia Calamar got a freekick which was hit by Javier Hug. Gavino Orlan came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Furia Calamar's Pedro Santana. But to his dismay, Pedro Santana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Gavino Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Semeno in the 75th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Celestino Mingo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Furia Calamar's Damaso Panfilo. Damaso Panfilo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Furia Calamar booed when ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Bartoleme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celestino Mingo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Damaso Panfilo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Furia Calamar's Jacinto Berasko got a free kick in the 94th minute. Furia Calamar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
