After a defensive mix-up in Torbellino's zone, Isaac Vistruario stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Ubarna came out of the goal and Isaac Vistruario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot by Saverio Ladio from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Jorge Ubarna's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Narciso Tano came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jorge Ubarna could save by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
