Victor Jakes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Basajaun having to interfere. After 17 minutes, Ismael Elizardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Doppa Fc and the Defensores del Albinegro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Doppa Fc got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Elizardo. Rogelio Martxot charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogelio Martxot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Doppa Fc's Rogelio Martxot got a free kick in the 24th minute. Defensores del Albinegro's Victor Jakes got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Doppa Fc getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sixto Astrada hit a great ball. Defensores del Albinegro's Cipriano Maore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Defensores del Albinegro from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute Ariel Iraido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ariel Iraido made a kick off. Victor Jakes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cipriano Maore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute, Doppa Fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Severino Maiorga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ariel Iraido in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Basajaun saved Doppa Fc from getting behind. Defensores del Albinegro's Damaso Crescencio suffered a sore thigh after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sixto Sazon during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Doppa Fc's Sixto Sazon got a free kick in the 66th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Doppa Fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Defensores del Albinegro:s goal. In the 76th match minute, Doppa Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Senen to maneuver through the defense. After 81 minutes, Efrain Atauri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores del Albinegro and the Doppa Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Defensores del Albinegro would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
