When Norberto Patrido came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Nasals Más fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Patrido couldn't finish the play. Norberto Patrido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Ticho having to interfere. Nicolas Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Sauveur, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Evelio Enaut was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Mela Banco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nasals Más the free kick. Nasals Más's Nicolas Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Sauveur in the 40th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guido Kelemen was the one to do the kick off. Cayetano Chesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Vergaray was a little too slow when Filiberto Sauveur got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-3. After 64th play minutes Filiberto Sauveur shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Nicolas Vergaray and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 70th minute, Sportivo Mela Banco's Filiberto Sauveur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicolas Vergaray. Nicolas Vergaray yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Nicolas Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Sauveur in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nasals Más's Guido Kelemen got a free kick in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Filiberto Sauveur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicolas Vergaray, 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Patrido in the 86th minute of play forced Sportivo Mela Banco's goalkeeper Marcial Ticho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Ticho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norberto Patrido's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Sportivo Mela Banco's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Kelemen came free, but Marcial Ticho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Ticho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Kelemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiberto Sauveur got free with Nicolas Vergaray in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 93 played minutes Nasals Más got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Juvenal. In the 95th minute, Arnaldo Juvenal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute of the match Cayetano Chesus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicolas Vergaray skillfully saved the ball. Sportivo Mela Banco's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
