Miguel Merentiel started the match with the kick off. Pintura integral's Saul Norino got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 5 played minutes Pintura integral got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Rutenio. The crowd rose to their feet as Miguel Merentiel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucas Eufemio. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Saul Norino charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Norino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saul Norino kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Miguel Merentiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Eufemio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Hipolito Piarres came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Abuba Akotonon FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hipolito Piarres couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Merentiel in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Eufemio saved Pintura integral from getting behind. After 45th play minutes Miguel Merentiel shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Lucas Eufemio and just under the crossbar into goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteban Rutenio to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucas Eufemio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hipolito Piarres in the 51st minute of the match. Esteban Rutenio kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Hipolito Piarres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Eufemio having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Miguel Merentiel made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Eufemio. Pintura integral's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 62nd match minute, Abuba Akotonon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Laurgain to maneuver through the defense. After 64 minutes of play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Hipolito Piarres made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Eufemio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the match, Pintura integral's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Fernanco came free, but Lucas Eufemio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Merentiel in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucas Eufemio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Miguel Merentiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Lucas Eufemio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Hipolito Piarres sped through Pintura integral's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucas Eufemio. Lucas Eufemio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hipolito Piarres went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Abuba Akotonon FC booed when Pintura integral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Rutenio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Miguel Merentiel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abuba Akotonon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. If Miguel Merentiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abuba Akotonon FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
