In the 5th minute Evelio Kelemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Bittor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliberto Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Fresco in the 6th minute of play. La Zabaleta's Feliberto Bittor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Fresco in the 9th minute of play. Feliberto Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Acuña in the 10th minute of play. Vladimiro Eguerdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustaquio Oxarra having to interfere. Regresado's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Isidro Adrio scored to the left of an out of position Eustaquio Oxarra, making the score, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, La Zabaleta's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Bidun came free, but Feliberto Bittor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Bittor came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Regresado's Zacarias Escobar. But to his dismay, Zacarias Escobar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 31stth minute of the game Vladimiro Eguerdi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Regresado's Eustaquio Oxarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Zacarias Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Zabaleta's Feliberto Bittor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Fresco in the 44th minute of play. Feliberto Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Escobar in the 47th minute of play.

Celestino Fresco scored 1-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliberto Bittor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 68 minutes, Mateo Blanco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Zabaleta and the Regresado players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mateo Blanco hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Celestino Fresco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to La Zabaleta getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Fermin Lucero hit a great ball. La Zabaleta's Feliberto Bittor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Fresco in the 79th minute of play. Celestino Fresco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliberto Bittor was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Ismael Acuña capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ismael Acuña really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 87th minute, Evelio Kelemen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Celestino Fresco took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Feliberto Bittor to make any attempt to save it. Feliberto Bittor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Fresco, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
