ROJO were furious when Roman Haritz was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 3 minutes into the game, one of ROJO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. ROJO's Anacleto Honrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save ROJO from getting a goal against them. Humberto Santio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Amancio Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Honrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes in the game, Amancio Criston dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Llorian in the 29th minute of play forced Rocky Balboa Team's goalkeeper Aureliano Ospin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Javier Palben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Prospero Pabla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anacleto Honrio, 2-0. Anacleto Honrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Quinto in the 37th minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, ROJO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Llorian to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio Criston to make the kick off. The supporters of ROJO booed when Rocky Balboa Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Criston didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute Amancio Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anacleto Honrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anacleto Honrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Quinto in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Criston in the 58th minute of play forced ROJO's goalkeeper Anacleto Honrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Llorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Ospin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Llorian in the 62nd minute of play. ROJO's Anacleto Honrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Criston in the 66th minute of play. After 72 minutes, Humberto Santio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ROJO and the Rocky Balboa Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ROJO's Humberto Santio got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Javier Palben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, ROJO's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Quinto came free, but Anacleto Honrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javier Palben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Ospin having to interfere. If Marcelo Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Ospin made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Humberto Santio sent off a good shot on target. Anacleto Honrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Quinto in the 89th minute of the match. Anacleto Honrio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prospero Pabla went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score.
