Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baldomiro Gamus started the match with the kick off. Joaquin Venerando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Fernendo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 6th match minute, FIFA2024 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Abarca to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FIFA2024's zone, Baldomiro Gamus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Venerando came out of the goal and Baldomiro Gamus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Enekoitz got free with Joaquin Venerando in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FIFA2024's Joaquin Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Gamus in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the Palermo defense, Humberto Goi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcial Dantae. The Palermo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcial Dantae should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Baldomiro Gamus took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Joaquin Venerando to make any attempt to save it. Anibal Fernendo took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Venerando. Joaquin Venerando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Marcial Dantae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Goi in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, FIFA2024's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Gamus came free, but Joaquin Venerando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Gonzo during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, Leonides Gonzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Ermano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Palermo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Anibal Fernendo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Joaquin Venerando made a huge save. Anastasio Macario kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Joaquin Venerando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Gamus, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Joaquin Venerando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valentin Enekoitz in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

51 minutes into the game, Valentin Enekoitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Joaquin Venerando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Alvaro Ermano got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute, Humberto Goi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Palermo's Marcial Dantae didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Gamus in the 65th minute of play forced FIFA2024's goalkeeper Joaquin Venerando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes of play, Palermo's Anibal Fernendo made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Venerando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquin Venerando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Enekoitz went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Marcial Dantae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Abarca in the 80th minute of play. Paulino Mogel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Marcial Dantae made a huge save. Valentin Enekoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palermo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
