The referee ignored Granate's protests and gave Ermegildo Nardo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th minute, Ermegildo Nardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juventud Antoniana's Aristides Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Oliveiro in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Oliveiro was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Granate's Manuel Oliveiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aristides Oihenarte. That made the score 1-3 after 59 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonifacio Perrando during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabio Lore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Aristides Oihenarte made a huge save. The supporters of Juventud Antoniana booed when Granate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Columbo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Evaristo Montxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Turi charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Turi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celso Turi hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Agustin Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Perrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Abastas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Perrando in the 78th minute of the match. Ladislao Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Granate's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
