Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Hector Gizon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute, Esteve Beliran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Desafio FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 8th minute, Higinio Obeko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Petri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Gizon went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Silvio Hernando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Porfirio having to interfere. Hector Gizon kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Florencio Constancio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Porfirio. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wilfredo Corderall kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Marcelo Petri came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Hector Gizon. But to his dismay, Hector Gizon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Marcelo Petri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Gizon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Porfirio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Obeko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Gizon in the 44th minute of play forced Desafio FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Petri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Bertol to maneuver through the defense. After the first half CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Higinio Obeko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Diego Menendo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Elodio charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Elodio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Reynaldo Elodio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Constantino Bertol got a free kick in the 94th minute. Desafio FC's Israel Tercero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
