After a defensive mix-up in AZURDUY F.C.'s zone, Aurelio Lordi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Alejo Weterio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Desafio FC's Marcelo Petri. Marcelo Petri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Filomeno Firme kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelo Petri. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Ulises Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Obeko in the 26th minute of the match. Marcelo Petri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Louis in the 68th minute of play.
