When Jeremias Mon fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tecka Viejo Nomás's protests and gave Jeremias Mon a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tecka Viejo Nomás getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jeremias Mon hit a great ball. Nicanor Romelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Erlantz in the 16th minute. The Leproso del Parque FC fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Leproso del Parque FC's Sixto Urdaspal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sixto Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Romelio having to interfere. Tecka Viejo Nomás's Nicanor Romelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Tecka Viejo Nomás from getting a goal against them. Nicanor Romelio made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Sixto Urdaspal sent off a good shot on target. Tecka Viejo Nomás's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sixto Urdaspal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 80th minute, Sixto Urdaspal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicanor Romelio was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Nicanor Romelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Mateo in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Urdaspal in the 90th minute of play forced Tecka Viejo Nomás's goalkeeper Nicanor Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Leproso del Parque FC fully deserved thier win.
