The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Justo Cerilo fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Showtime FC's protests and gave Justo Cerilo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Showtime FC's Justo Cerilo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 5th minute Claudio Iturri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Lugo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Jacindo charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Jacindo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Showtime FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Jacindo to maneuver through the defense. After 13 played minutes Gladiadores got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Markel. Gladiadores's Cesar Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Generoso Aragones in the 23rd minute of play. Leonides Lugo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Iturri, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 34 played minutes, Showtime FC's Carolo Naldo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cesar Romelio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Showtime FC reached it. Leonides Lugo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matan Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Melquiades Sanduru made the kick off in the second half. Showtime FC's Melquiades Sanduru got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Melquiades Sanduru off the ground. Melquiades Sanduru hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Showtime FC's Leonides Lugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matan Brito in the 52nd minute of play. If Jesus Lluis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, David Jacindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justo Cerilo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Americo Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gladiadores's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Mannie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonides Lugo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Freddy Bernal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Romelio having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Showtime FC's goal looked a bit too open when Matan Brito came free, but Leonides Lugo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Showtime FC's Leonides Lugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Iturri in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Jesus Lluis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Lugo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Carolo Naldo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes Showtime FC got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Naldo. There was no doubt that Gladiadores were the better team. Gladiadores's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
