When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Silvano Urdaspal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Celedonio Dominguez to make any attempt to save it. In the 27th minute, Leo Musko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ruben Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Guanacos's Silvano Urdaspal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Celedonio Dominguez. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. Severo Eudoxio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Celedonio Dominguez made a huge save. When Ernesto Juvenal fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guanacos's protests and gave Ernesto Juvenal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of The Waldos booed when Guanacos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Juvenal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Botello in the 72nd minute of play forced The Waldos's goalkeeper Celedonio Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Silvano Urdaspal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celedonio Dominguez was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The audience was convinced that Silvano Urdaspal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celedonio Dominguez was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Uhin in the 81st minute of play forced Guanacos's goalkeeper Casimiro Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
