Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Micky Capusotto got the match started through his kick off. Hilario Ramos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Casimiro Gonzales in the 2nd minute. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Everardo Tomi got a free kick in the 6th minute. Hilario Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Sazon in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Guillem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marlin FC's Timoteo Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Montel in the 12th minute of play. Alfonso Pudes kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of Marlin FC booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Lluciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Deportivo Pomelo Nenene getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Luis Indartsu hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Erramun. In the 25th minute, Marlin FC's Jeremias Guillem seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jeremias Guillem the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Marlin FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jeremias Guillem had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 25th minute, one of Marlin FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marlin FC. The referee gave Deportivo Pomelo Nenene a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luis Indartsu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Marlin FC's Timoteo Evis. 0-1. Marlin FC's Timoteo Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micky Capusotto in the 34th minute of play. Timoteo Evis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micky Capusotto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Anier Sazon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Lluciano hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. With 40 minutes on the clock, Damian Damario commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Pomelo Nenene! Hilario Ramos had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Ricardo Erlantz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 46th minute Micky Capusotto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Florentino Esiquio made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Leonardo Lluciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute Alfonso Pudes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Micky Capusotto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Evis having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Pudes came free, but Hilario Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Pudes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Ramos having to interfere. After some careless play in the Marlin FC defense, Micky Capusotto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Timoteo Evis. The Marlin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Timoteo Evis should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Anier Sazon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marlin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anier Sazon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's zone, Florentino Esiquio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hilario Ramos came out of the goal and Florentino Esiquio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Micky Capusotto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timoteo Evis having to make a save. The Deportivo Pomelo Nenene players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
