The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Moises Primo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Santos Bazil kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ezequiel Lehior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Rius having to interfere. After having played for 12 minutes, Marcos Guter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vele FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Guter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blas Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Toro, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Hector Estevon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Chesus having to interfere. Bartolo Rafe kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Hector Estevon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvaro Chesus. The goal made the score 1-0. KIRICOCHO FC's Alvaro Chesus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save KIRICOCHO FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Teodosio Herena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Rius was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Lisandro Baumar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alvaro Chesus came out and tried to block the shot, but Lisandro Baumar slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Placido Toro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the KIRICOCHO FC defense, Hector Estevon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvaro Chesus. The KIRICOCHO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvaro Chesus should have stopped the shot. KIRICOCHO FC's Alvaro Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Guter in the 55th minute of play. Victorio Argoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorio Argoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to KIRICOCHO FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Victorio Argoitz hit a great ball. Placido Toro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Blas Rius made a huge save. Alvaro Chesus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Estevon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodosio Herena during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Teodosio Herena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvaro Chesus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Guter in the 68th minute of the match. Blas Rius was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Placido Toro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Placido Toro really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. The supporters of Vele FC booed when KIRICOCHO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Pagomari didn't get a good kick on the ball. KIRICOCHO FC's Alvaro Chesus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Estevon in the 76th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Marcos Guter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blas Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Herena, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vele FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while KIRICOCHO FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
