The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elvio Rainerio to strike the kick off in the second half. German Tabor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Boniel having to interfere. Delmiro Sazon made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Bernardo Salvino sent off a good shot on target. Honorio Louis's late challenge caught a EL PEPO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Honorio Louis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rebelution's Honorio Louis got a free kick in the 58th minute. Delmiro Sazon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Rainerio in the 59th minute of the match. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rebelution.
