Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Miguel-Angel Merentiel kicked off to start the match. Toto Belmonte kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute of the match Severo Quiroga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godfredo Hibai skillfully saved the ball. Osvaldo Dodorol scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godfredo Hibai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute, Dalmacio Lamberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match Kevin Zenón shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gogo Gimenez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Defensores de Lombroso's Godfredo Hibai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Tano in the 14th minute of play. Godfredo Hibai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Pepillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Carolo Buinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Gabriel Evis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Hibai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Aldo Tano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Godfredo Hibai. Defensores de Lombroso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aldo Tano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Godfredo Hibai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Tano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Tano scored 0-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godfredo Hibai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Osvaldo Dodorol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godfredo Hibai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Antonio Napier replaced Erasmo Lekubegi. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Tano to strike the kick off in the second half. Carolo Buinton took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gogo Gimenez. Gogo Gimenez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Godfredo Hibai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Dodorol in the 62nd minute. Imperio Académico's Albano Kismi was substituted for Severo Quiroga. Gogo Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel-Angel Merentiel in the 74th minute of play. Godfredo Hibai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Tano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Defensores de Lombroso's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Domingo Gaitan was slow to take the kick. During this time Imperio Académico's players had a chance to rest. Simon Hurko kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The supporters of Defensores de Lombroso booed when Imperio Académico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Lamberto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Godfredo Hibai, 1-5. In the 88th minute Osvaldo Dodorol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Hibai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godfredo Hibai made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Osvaldo Dodorol sent off a good shot on target. Defensores de Lombroso's Godfredo Hibai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores de Lombroso from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Imperio Académico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
