Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ermegildo Donzel kicked off to start the match. Enrique Garaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Cristofor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Gilberto Munio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Desiderio Filipo fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's protests and gave Desiderio Filipo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Club Atletico Los Andes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Norberto Cristofor fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when Club Atletico Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Munio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicasio Dayam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Primo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Club Atletico Los Andes's Enrique Garaona got control of the ball when Freddy Primo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Freddy Primo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Enrique Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eloy Atarrabi fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Los Andes's protests and gave Eloy Atarrabi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Eloy Atarrabi got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Norberto Cristofor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Garaona having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norberto Cristofor made a kick off. Enrique Garaona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Primo in the 52nd minute of the match. Enrique Garaona came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Norberto Cristofor. But to his dismay, Norberto Cristofor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 65th match minute, Club Atletico Los Andes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Aureo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Madera in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enrique Garaona saved Club Atletico Los Andes from getting behind. After 67 minutes, Genaro Aureo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Los Andes and the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Los Andes's Genaro Aureo got a free kick in the 67th minute. Gilberto Munio scored 1-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salvador Incendio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enrique Garaona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Madera, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Norberto Cristofor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Manuel Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ermegildo Donzel's late challenge caught a ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Donzel helped the player get up and apologised. Ermegildo Donzel kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Oscar Palben sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Garaona skillfully saved the ball. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
