An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Maurin in the 3rd minute of play forced SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Benito Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Amado Maurin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Argi was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After having played for 15 minutes, Florencio Orlanda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loco De Remate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Orlanda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Loco De Remate's Jose Lopez got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Maurin in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Argi saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amado Maurin in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Argi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Loco De Remate's Amado Maurin in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SOUTH THUNDER's goalie prevented a goal. Alvaro Resto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Argi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Amado Maurin came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Argi could save by the left post. Loco De Remate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Natalio Ur in the 63rd minute. A hard shot 65 in the game by Amado Maurin from a close distance when the talented Benito Argi managed to make a qualified save. SOUTH THUNDER's players were relieved. With his leg Benito Argi managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Loco De Remate's Amado Maurin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 68 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's Amado Maurin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Argi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Amado Maurin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Argi. SOUTH THUNDER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amado Maurin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amado Maurin in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Argi saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Juan Matia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SOUTH THUNDER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. SOUTH THUNDER's Benito Argi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Maurin in the 90th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amado Maurin in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Argi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Loco De Remate supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Loco De Remate would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
