Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonas Cordarryl took the kick off in the first half of the match. Amador Christobal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Avellaneda in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Norberto Cristofor hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Mauro Hotz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malvinas Argentinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Hotz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvador Incendio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute Jonas Cordarryl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Incendio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Cordarryl scored 1-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salvador Incendio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's zone, Mauro Hotz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salvador Incendio came out of the goal and Mauro Hotz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 38 minutes into the match, Malvinas Argentinas's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Perez came free, but Amador Christobal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Norberto Cristofor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Cordarryl's late challenge caught a ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Cordarryl helped the player get up and apologised. 45 minutes into the match, Malvinas Argentinas's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Perez came free, but Amador Christobal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Leonel Peter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malvinas Argentinas's Amador Christobal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Primo in the 47th minute of play.

When Leandro Mambru fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malvinas Argentinas's protests and gave Leandro Mambru a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 52 minutes, Leandro Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malvinas Argentinas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Mambru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Malvinas Argentinas's Edelmiro Garci got a free kick in the 57th minute. Freddy Primo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amador Christobal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Perez in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Freddy Primo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amador Christobal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Amador Christobal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pablo Madera in the 74th minute. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
