Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Lapachito's Jesus Tiso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ernesto Chepe hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lapachito getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Angelino Manuelo hit a great ball. Marciano Gaufred kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Lapachito's goalkeeper Ciro Aimar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Gitano. Marciano Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ciro Aimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Gil in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, COSQUIN SFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Tiso came free, but Aureliano Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Lucas Paio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Socorro. COSQUIN SFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Paio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 34 played minutes COSQUIN SFC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Bustos. With his leg Ciro Aimar managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when COSQUIN SFC's Jeronimo Gil fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ciro Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxi Meza in the 38th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxi Meza in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Aimar saved Lapachito from getting behind. 44 minutes in the game, Maxi Meza fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ciro Aimar having to interfere. Ciro Aimar made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Marciano Gaufred sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maxi Meza was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Maxi Meza notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lapachito's Ciro Aimar. Ciro Aimar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Lapachito's zone, Maxi Meza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Aimar came out of the goal and Maxi Meza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Herminio Erruki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute Jeronimo Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Aimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lapachito's Ciro Aimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxi Meza in the 73rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jeronimo Gil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Aimar was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 77th minute Maxi Meza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Aimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Maxi Meza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxi Meza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Aimar having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, COSQUIN SFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Abeita to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxi Meza in the 89th minute of the match. Jeronimo Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see COSQUIN SFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
