With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justo Karmel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, La Pantera Azulgrana's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Ixona came free, but Justo Karmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in La Pantera Azulgrana's zone, Rogelio Herauso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Karmel came out of the goal and Rogelio Herauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dario Ixona made a kick off. If Fulgencio Ixidor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 53rd match minute, La Pantera Azulgrana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Baldovino to maneuver through the defense. Justo Karmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Herauso in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Fulgencio Ixidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rejunte de perros's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Ixidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Justo Karmel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas Madaleno hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 71 played minutes La Pantera Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Derwin. Marcelino Herena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
