Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Ψ virgen Ψ's Narciso Garaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Narciso Garaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Aimar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paolo Txindoki. Ciro Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Osmundo in the 15th minute of the match. Claudio Garikoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ciro Aimar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18thth minute of the game Narciso Garaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lapachito's Ciro Aimar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ψ virgen Ψ's Narciso Garaona in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lapachito's goalie prevented a goal. Lapachito's Jesus Tiso got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pastor Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Tiso, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lucas Paio sped through Ψ virgen Ψ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pastor Belarmo. Claudio Garikoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvestre Frasquito took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Aimar. Ciro Aimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Narciso Garaona had several of the Lapachito's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Ciro Aimar as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesus Tiso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ciro Aimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Garikoitz in the 51st minute of the match. Narciso Garaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Aimar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Pastor Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Paio in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Paolo Txindoki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Remigio Abad fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lapachito's protests and gave Remigio Abad a yellow card for diving instead. Ciro Aimar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Garaona's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Ψ virgen Ψ's Alejo Osmundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Aimar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 72 minutes into the match, Silvestre Frasquito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Aimar. Lapachito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvestre Frasquito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Lapachito's Ciro Aimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Garikoitz in the 78th minute of play. Narciso Garaona scored 6-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Aimar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 91 minutes of play Lapachito's Remigio Abad was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Lapachito getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Remigio Abad hit a great ball. Baltasar Corderall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Pastor Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ψ virgen Ψ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
