Justo Karmel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Kinsen in the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Don Malbec booed when La Pantera Azulgrana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Frutos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Millan's late challenge caught a Don Malbec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Karmel had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Apolo Hanni's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the La Pantera Azulgrana defense, Apolo Hanni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Justo Karmel. The La Pantera Azulgrana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Justo Karmel should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Inocencio Roldan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Don Malbec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Herminio Rodriguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Honorato Abeitia made a huge save. Justo Karmel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Roldan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Justo Karmel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Don Malbec. Marcos Kinsen hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Guaberto Raymon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Justo Karmel made a huge save. After 75 played minutes Don Malbec got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Roldan. A collision led to Don Malbec getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Eriberto Tono hit a great ball. Inocencio Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Pantera Azulgrana's Justo Karmel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save La Pantera Azulgrana from getting a goal against them. When Rene Amaya fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Don Malbec's protests and gave Rene Amaya a yellow card for diving instead. Don Malbec's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
