The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leo Roldanillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Marcones in the 3rd minute of play. Dalmacio Rojelios short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Venancio Isidor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Benjamin Acevedo fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Flancito's protests and gave Benjamin Acevedo a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Jacinto Lehoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Lehoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leo Roldanillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Teodosio Romildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Anga FC's Dionisio Marcones sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Roldanillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jacinto Lehoi hit a great ball. With a little luck, Anga FC's Venancio Isidor got control of the ball when Dalmacio Rojelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Horacio Ekaitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leo Roldanillo. C. A. Flancito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horacio Ekaitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Baldomiro Artal fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anga FC's protests and gave Baldomiro Artal a yellow card for diving instead. The C. A. Flancito players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Anga FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dionisio Marcones was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Anga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Rojelio came free, but Venancio Isidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Isidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Rojelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Marcones got free with Leo Roldanillo in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, C. A. Flancito's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Ekaitz came free, but Leo Roldanillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes in the game, Apolo Lizer fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leo Roldanillo having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Dionisio Marcones got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C. A. Flancito's Leo Roldanillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Lizer in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Rojelio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Venancio Isidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Anga FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Anga FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
