Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Gorosti took the kick off in the first half of the match. Santo Beat charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santo Beat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Santo Beat kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Nestor Erdiano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pablo Acevedo. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Teobaldo Casomiro hit a great ball. In the 7th minute of the match Santo Beat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaime Havier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Gorosti came free, but Pablo Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Havier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Geofredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. A collision led to Independiente getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Generoso Inocente hit a great ball. In the 17thth minute of the game Serafino Geofredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente's Jaime Havier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute Amado Pacorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Acevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Nestor Erdiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Erdiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Acevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaudencio Rico hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Pablo Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Gorosti in the 25th minute of play. C. A. Potrero's Pablo Acevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Potrero from getting a goal against them. After 27 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Iruinea. After 28 played minutes, C. A. Potrero's Santo Beat shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaime Havier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C. A. Potrero reached it. The crowd rose to their feet as Independiente's Nestor Erdiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pablo Acevedo. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Pablo Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Erdiano in the 39th minute of play. Pablo Acevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Gorosti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Acevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Gorosti in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serafino Geofredo was the one to do the kick off. Jaime Havier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Niceto Lehior showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 58 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Potrero's zone, Nestor Erdiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Acevedo came out of the goal and Nestor Erdiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's goal looked a bit too open when Froilan Iruinea came free, but Pablo Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Gorosti came free, but Pablo Acevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santo Beat got free with Jaime Havier in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Santo Beat in the 85th minute really tested Jaime Havier's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When C. A. Potrero's Serafino Geofredo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. Independiente were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of C. A. Potrero for a fine match.
