Nicolas Lorien's late challenge caught a Leon Platense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Cecilio Gomez came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Club Atlético Temperley fans jumped to their feet. Leo Viator charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 17th minute, Saul Beltza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antonio Todor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 20 minutes into the game, German Ekaitz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cecilio Garci. German Ekaitz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Beltza in the 28th minute of play forced Club Atlético Temperley's goalkeeper Antonio Todor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th match minute, Club Atlético Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Ekaitz to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelino Galindo was the one to do the kick off. With 51 minutes on the clock, Augusto Olentzaro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
