Hernan Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Raymon, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severiano Raymon was the one to do the kick off. Hernan Eleazar made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Severiano Raymon sent off a good shot on target. In the 55th minute of the game Fernando Guib made a throw-in which Severiano Raymon played forward. Despidida AFC's attentive Atila Eduardov managed to snatch the ball when Fernando Guib made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Raymon got free with Hernan Eleazar in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Deportivo Álvarez were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Despidida AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Epifanio Silviano took the corner. Severiano Raymon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Hernan Eleazar made a huge save. In the 86th minute, Paulo Maiorga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Eleazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 90 minutes into the game, Severiano Raymon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Hernan Eleazar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hernan Eleazar acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hilario Txanton. The Club Deportivo Álvarez fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Club Deportivo Álvarez's Severiano Raymon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Despidida AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Deportivo Álvarez's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Deportivo Álvarez.
