Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bartolo Estebe kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the game, Dionisio Eutor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Retorno de Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Candela FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of El Retorno de Palermo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Candela FC:s goal. Saturnino Igon went to the wrong direction when Vicente Gerazan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Candela FC's zone, Victor Lehior stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Urre came out of the goal and Victor Lehior tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victor Lehior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Urre having to interfere. Anastasio Salvidor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Vicente Urre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mariano Quinteros fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Retorno de Palermo's protests and gave Mariano Quinteros a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when El Retorno de Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariano Quinteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Gonzalo Arotza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Candela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Retorno de Palermo the free kick. In the 18th minute, Gonzalo Arotza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Arotza came free, but Saturnino Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as La Candela FC's Baldomiro Gonzalez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Saturnino Igon. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. In the 34th match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Gerazan to maneuver through the defense. Vicente Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Iraitz in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Bartolo Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Gonzalo Arotza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Saturnino Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. La Candela FC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after El Retorno de Palermo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vicente Gerazan took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Bartolo Estebe to score against Saturnino Igon in El Retorno de Palermo's goal. 3-0 after 71 minutes. Vicente Urre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaspar Iraitz in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Saul Flor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Candela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Retorno de Palermo the free kick. After 81 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Flor. Gaspar Iraitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Gonzalez in the 84th minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Saturnino Igon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 minutes of play, La Candela FC's Bartolo Estebe made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saturnino Igon was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Baldomiro Gonzalez came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the La Candela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomiro Gonzalez couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Bartolo Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Gonzalez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Igon having to interfere. After 97 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Flor. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Candela FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Retorno de Palermo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
