With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leo Rosio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Calvino kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Lucas Cesaro was a little too slow when Ivan Esiquio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-0. After some careless play in the Angua FC defense, Aurelio Baladi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Rosio. The Angua FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Rosio should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ivan Esiquio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Esiquio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Cesaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Gastres FC's Lucas Cesaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Esiquio in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Gastres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Esiquio came free, but Lucas Cesaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Angua FC booed when Gastres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Cesaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Esiquio's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Cornelio Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 minutes, Vicente Emesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angua FC and the Gastres FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Angua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Emesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aurelio Baladi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Rosio having to interfere. Aurelio Baladi was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Angua FC booed when Gastres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Baladi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Gastres FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gastres FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
