A collision led to El Retorno de Palermo getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Victor Lehior hit a great ball. Higinio Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Bolsodios's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anastasio Salvidor fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Bolsodios booed when El Retorno de Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Anaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Colas kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Teo Bladi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Lehior in the 16th minute of play. El Retorno de Palermo's Saturnino Igon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Hug in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match, Victor Lehior tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Teo Bladi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Iraitz got free with Teo Bladi in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 22 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Vinicio Ekhi. Higinio Lauro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gaspar Iraitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Teo Bladi made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Epifanio Cai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolsodios's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Cai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Igon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gaspar Iraitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Bladi having to interfere. Epifanio Cai's late challenge caught a El Retorno de Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Epifanio Cai helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bolsodios's Epifanio Cai got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Daniel Erramun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Lehior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Bladi having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Hug to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonas Hug received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Saturnino Igon came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonas Hug slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Higinio Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute Gaspar Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Bladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Lauro in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saturnino Igon saved El Retorno de Palermo from getting behind. Anastasio Salvidor hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bolsodios's Joel Ayala got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute Gaspar Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Bladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Epifanio Cai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Igon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bolsodios's Teo Bladi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Iraitz in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El Retorno de Palermo's zone, Jonas Hug stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saturnino Igon came out of the goal and Jonas Hug tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, El Retorno de Palermo's Anastasio Salvidor got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 94th match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Salvidor to maneuver through the defense. Higinio Lauro struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Saturnino Igon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolsodios. Bolsodios's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
