Melquiades Silban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Mikelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Lixandro in the 33rd minute of play forced Metapalo FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Silban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, German Mikelar put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Melquiades Silban. With a little luck, LA MAQUINA F.C's Saul Muc got control of the ball when Joel Nuxila tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 44 minutes of play LA MAQUINA F.C's Edgard Iraunkor was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Metapalo FC booed when LA MAQUINA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. LA MAQUINA F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Joel Nuxila scored to the left of an out of position Saul Muc, making the score, 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell German Mikelar to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Metapalo FC's Oscar Inge got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Jimeno Estevon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Silban having to make a save. After 55th play minutes German Mikelar shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Melquiades Silban and just under the crossbar into goal. LA MAQUINA F.C's Saul Muc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Nuxila in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Estevon got free with Melquiades Silban in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute, Jimeno Estevon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Silban was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Mariano Eliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LA MAQUINA F.C's Cayetano Duardo was substituted for Esteve Amato. 75 minutes into the game, Metapalo FC's Joel Nuxila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saul Muc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Saul Muc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Eliu went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albano Austin in the 87th minute of play forced LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Saul Muc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rigoberto Atauri's late challenge caught a LA MAQUINA F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Atauri helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Metapalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Atauri. Metapalo FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
