Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ismael Vela started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Everardo Frasquito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 7 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's Pastor Osoitz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Cayetano Berto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislao Endira was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. With a little luck, ACF Fiorentina's Abelardo Videl got control of the ball when Rafael Ostots tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abelardo Videl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Joey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ACF Fiorentina booed when Ascacibar-Pérez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Fonda didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Ascacibar-Pérez's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Goyo came free, but Ladislao Endira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ulises Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ladislao Endira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Osoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

A collision led to ACF Fiorentina getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Horacio Egoi hit a great ball. Ascacibar-Pérez's Emanuel Fonda got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ladislao Endira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Goyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Rey's late challenge caught a Ascacibar-Pérez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Everardo Frasquito put in a rough tackle. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
