The referee ignored Barsa FC's protests and gave Godofredo Guifre a yellow card for diving instead. Godofredo Guifre kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Arnaldo Guerrero charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Guerrero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Timoteo Bikendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel-Alejandro Batistuta in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remigio Favila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gavino Osorio was a little too slow when Marcelo Tomi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. Gabriel-Alejandro Batistuta scored 2-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigio Favila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gavino Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Sanduru in the 33rd minute of play. Gavino Osorio made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Arnaldo Sanduru sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Tomi came free, but Gavino Osorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
