The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelio Valerio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AFC CERBEROS getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Cornelio Valerio hit a great ball. When Cornelio Valerio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 13 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, AFC CERBEROS's Cornelio Valerio got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 22 minutes, Filiberto Bemabe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFC CERBEROS and the C. A. Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when AFC CERBEROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Bemabe didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. In the 30th minute Arturo Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Tabb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC CERBEROS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valentin Cefero was slow to take the kick. During this time C. A. Atlanta's players had a chance to rest. After 34 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Flores. 35 minutes into the game, Gabriel Misael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC CERBEROS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Atlanta the free kick. After a rather tough play, AFC CERBEROS's Gabriel Misael got a free kick in the 35th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Osasun to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvano Dominguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Osasun in the 52nd minute of play. When Arturo Flores came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the C. A. Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Flores couldn't finish the play. AFC CERBEROS's Abel Tabb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Etxepare in the 55th minute of play. Atlanta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvano Dominguez. Silvano Dominguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Misael in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when AFC CERBEROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Osasun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Cordarrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Aurelio Luken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Abel Tabb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 91 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Luken. After 95 minutes, Rodolfo Etxepare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Atlanta and the AFC CERBEROS players grew even worse after the yellow card.
