Nicolas Vedillo hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Presebal came free, but Gualterio Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Ourente in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Calixto saved Road To Glory from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Oscar Oskarbi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Calixto was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. If Jonathan Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Road To Glory getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gilberto Domingues hit a great ball. Nouvelle Vague's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Road To Glory the free kick. Oscar Oskarbi kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. When Road To Glory's Jorge Presebal in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 47th minute, one of Road To Glory:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Road To Glory. After the first half Nouvelle Vague were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tomás Calixto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Ourente went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Nouvelle Vague booed when Road To Glory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Presebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Ourente's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomás Calixto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Nouvelle Vague were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Road To Glory's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobias Ourente took the corner. Tobias Ourente made a great header on Nouvelle Vague's corner, it was just that Road To Glory's Tomás Calixto managed to reach the ball for a save. 69 minutes into the match, Road To Glory's goalkeeper Tomás Calixto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tobias Ourente. Gualterio Socorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Beltran in the 82nd minute of play. Gualterio Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Presebal in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Gilberto Domingues had to leave the field with a concussion. 88 minutes into the game, Tobias Ourente was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nouvelle Vague's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Road To Glory the free kick. Road To Glory made a substitution. Gualterio Leguizamón replaced Gilberto Domingues. After 89 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Ourente. When the final whistle sounded Nouvelle Vague left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Road To Glory.
