When Luciano Cordario fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vaqueteros FC's protests and gave Luciano Cordario a yellow card for diving instead. Ramiro Gonza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteve Nicholas went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. During the 47th minute of the match Luciano Cordario completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luciano Cordario a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Amador Sauveur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 minutes of play, Municipales FC's Mateo Hibai made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. España reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Municipales FC's J.P. Trąba got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Municipales FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
