Yala's Fulgencio Lore was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Leo Burian in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Leo Burian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Romero in the 25th minute of play. Gogo Ruisko made a great header on SABALEPLUS's corner, it was just that Yala's Prudencio Lluciano managed to reach the ball for a save. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Romero to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Saturnino Quinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Lluciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
