In the 41st minute Albano Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Gregorio Valiente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardino Gomez made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Felipe Weterio sent off a good shot on target. The Branco FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Valhalla Time were winning 1-4.

After having played for 50 minutes, Felipe Weterio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Branco FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Weterio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 69 played minutes Branco FC got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Weterio. Lorenzo Henrico took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celedonio Nataniel. Branco FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valhalla Time's Bernardino Gomez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Weterio in the 74th minute of play. Bernardino Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Valiente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregorio Valiente's late challenge caught a Valhalla Time's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gregorio Valiente helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Branco FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Valiente. After a defensive mix-up in Branco FC's zone, Elias Abecia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Nataniel came out of the goal and Elias Abecia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
