The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Volvimos mejores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Ortzi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Piarres in the 4th minute of play forced Volvimos mejores's goalkeeper Atilano Lia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Santo Piarres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Volvimos mejores's Atilano Lia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 11 played minutes Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo got a freekick which was hit by Santo Piarres. In the 13thth minute of the game Bernabe Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's Teofilo Maraman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leo Erramun got free with Teofilo Maraman in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Tolino in the 19th minute of play forced Volvimos mejores's goalkeeper Atilano Lia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Santo Piarres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Lia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's Teofilo Maraman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernabe Batista kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teofilo Maraman. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. Volvimos mejores's Atilano Lia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Luar in the 34th minute of play. When Santo Piarres came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Piarres couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Pastor Osoitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atilano Lia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Bernabe Batista took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofilo Maraman. Teofilo Maraman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Bernabe Batista made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Batista in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Maraman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Volvimos mejores's Atilano Lia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Volvimos mejores from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute Bernabe Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Maraman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santo Piarres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo booed when Volvimos mejores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Erramun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teofilo Maraman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The Volvimos mejores supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's performance. The match ended with a win for Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo.
