When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Teodosio Solustiano sped through Psycho-Circus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicolas Lapurdi. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Nicolas Lapurdi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Remigio Tabby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Nicolas Lapurdi made a huge save. Abelardo Dodorol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Lando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Humberto Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Abuelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Dodorol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play.
