In the 2nd minute, Remigio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Birjaio in the 7th minute of play forced San Fernando Eagles's goalkeeper Saul Etxeberri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Jairo Erramun fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Fernando Eagles's protests and gave Jairo Erramun a yellow card for diving instead. Jairo Erramun hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Santos Confesor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Fernando Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STARK F.C. the free kick. After 12 minutes, Carlos Birjaio made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. San Fernando Eagles's Saul Etxeberri tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jeronimo Asur came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the STARK F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Asur couldn't finish the play. Angelo Peruanton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Bras in the 20th minute of the match. STARK F.C.'s Carlos Birjaio got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saul Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Asur, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Saul Etxeberri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Birjaio in the 37th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, STARK F.C.'s Carlos Birjaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saul Etxeberri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Carlos Birjaio made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, San Fernando Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Licerio to maneuver through the defense. When Marcial Bras came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the San Fernando Eagles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Bras couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Santos Confesor was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing STARK F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
