Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Victorino Peyo got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 9 minutes on the clock, Robustiano Montes commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of San Fernando Eagles:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.:s goal. Constantino Maties placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! With a little luck, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Everardo Iaki got control of the ball when Santos Confesor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nestor Ortigoza hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Everardo Iaki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Confesor in the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Xherdan Shaqiri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Maties in the 23rd minute of play forced San Fernando Eagles's goalkeeper Saul Etxeberri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Gelmiro during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes San Fernando Eagles got a freekick which was hit by David Gelmiro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xherdan Shaqiri in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Etxeberri saved San Fernando Eagles from getting behind. Saul Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Xherdan Shaqiri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Saul Etxeberri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Victorino Peyo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Saul Etxeberri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xherdan Shaqiri in the 44th minute of play forced San Fernando Eagles's goalkeeper Saul Etxeberri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Victorino Peyo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saul Etxeberri. San Fernando Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Peyo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Everardo Iaki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Confesor in the 54th minute of play. If Victorino Peyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Etxeberri made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Constantino Maties sent off a good shot on target. Constantino Maties could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Saul Etxeberri made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Nestor Ortigoza took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Saul Etxeberri to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ. booed when San Fernando Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Silvestre Merexildo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of San Fernando Eagles's Saul Etxeberri. Saul Etxeberri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Constantino Maties fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Etxeberri having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, San Fernando Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Confesor to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, San Fernando Eagles's goalkeeper Saul Etxeberri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantino Maties. Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
