When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Angel Mantzio sped through LiBeRiA F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hernan Silbestre. Hernan Silbestre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Mantzio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Silbestre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Mantzio in the 13th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Gerardo Haritz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of LiBeRiA F.C.'s Hernan Silbestre. After 42 minutes of play, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Benicio Perfecto made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Silbestre was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of LiBeRiA F.C. booed when Defensores del Tiki Tiki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Haritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Mario Chabier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Silbestre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
