Venancio Lain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Saturnin in the 4th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Adolfo Santos notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Benigno Abreu. Benigno Abreu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Noqueces FC's Uriel Segio got a free kick in the 19th minute. Benigno Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfo Santos went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute, Jose Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 minutes of play, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Cleto Saturnin made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Venancio Lain was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victorino Cisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Benigno Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Benigno Abreu got control of the ball when Oscar Arlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venancio Lain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Saturnin in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, Noqueces FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Arias to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Lain didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodosio Elequemedo went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Eguerdi made a kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Adolfo Santos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Benigno Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Cleto Saturnin got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes, Noqueces FC's Alfredo Itzaina shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benigno Abreu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Noqueces FC reached it. Benigno Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Guillem, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Matias Eguerdi fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's protests and gave Matias Eguerdi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Matias Eguerdi hit a great ball. When Jose Arias fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Noqueces FC's protests and gave Jose Arias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute Adolfo Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Cisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Abreu having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka got a freekick which was hit by Matias Eguerdi. When Primitivo Onofre fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's protests and gave Primitivo Onofre a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! After 85 played minutes Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka got a freekick which was hit by Matias Eguerdi. In the 95th minute, Teodosio Elequemedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the game, Inocencio Tiadoro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Noqueces FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka the free kick. Cleto Saturnin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 100thth minute, Venancio Lain skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
