Elvio Paublo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Oskitz kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Ildefonso Lizbeth struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Prospero Abadia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soroca F.C.. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Bautista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Lizbeth to maneuver through the defense. Estudiantes de América's Luciano Lope shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Angel Rubio but with some difficulty. In the 42nd minute, Gustavo Bautista made a precise shot to the right of Angel Rubio. Soroca F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Ildefonso Lizbeth got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Bernardo Ado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Rubio skillfully saved the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicklas Füllkrug stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de América's Luciano Lope got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Bernardo Ado struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Angel Rubio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de América. In the 63rd minute, Gustavo Bautista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prospero Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicklas Füllkrug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Gustavo Bautista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angel Rubio. Soroca F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustavo Bautista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Jeronimo Obeko hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Bernardo Ado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Rubio skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Ildefonso Lizbeth got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 88 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Regis. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Estudiantes de América fans cheered their team off the field, for while Soroca F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
