In the 13th minute, Nereo Urtats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Tobias Romelio got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Barrialito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Blai to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Jaime Celio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barrialito AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Celio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 24 played minutes Barrialito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Socorro. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Cugat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristo Elivareo was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Bruno Cordarrel took the corner. ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ's Bruno Cordarrel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristo Elivareo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristo Elivareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Cugat in the 57th minute of the match. Barrialito AFC's Cristo Elivareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Cugat in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Cugat came free, but Cristo Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Barrialito AFC's Cristo Elivareo got control of the ball when Domingo Lleir tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 71 minutes, Lucio Iraido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ₡ösᴛᴀ ᴆᴇ ₿ᴀʀᴙɪĿ and the Barrialito AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Lucio Iraido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Socorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
